How can we shape the design of information ecosystems so that they benefit public interest, that is, for humanity? Learning about how connected we are, how complex our communication has become, and the incredible potential that technology offers to optimise them… those are some of the first steps we’ll have to take, together.

My vision of a global society is one that values life-long learning, empathy, creativity, and inclusivity. These are crucial for a sustainable future on earth.

More than a newsletter, The Future of Global Society envisions itself as a conversing community joining inspiring experts and scientists, as well as individuals and civil society seeking to understand how we can create a better world.

Level Up — We Gamify Democracy

Together with an inter-disciplinary team of doctoral researchers, I co-founded Level Up. Our project is non-profit and uses gamification to optimise democratic participation, public consultation, and community engagement. We aim to support the development of innovative solutions for the most pressing challenges of our time.

I have far-reaching public speaking experience as expert panelist and moderator worldwide. My style is approachable and engages audiences of all backgrounds.

In the past decade, I have spoken at 80+ events, ranging from academic exchanges to school visits, with live audiences from 10 to 400 people.

Consulting

Whilst working as a doctoral researcher, I advise and collaborate with think tanks, governments, and international organisations. I have 7+ years of experience in public diplomacy, strategic communication, and global peace and security. Former clients include: European Commission, Royal Military Academy, NATO Centre of Excellence.
